models & EXPERIENCE
We are looking for models of all ages, genders, ethnicities, sizes who have undergone (in the last 5 years) or are about to undergo a single or double mastectomy with either immediate or delayed reconstruction and are willing to share their story. This also includes women who have decided to opt for no reconstruction.
As part of your experience you will be taking part in a professional photo shoot where we will create beautiful imagery that will be showcased in the 'Book of Boobs'. Your images will empower and educate women when they are faced with the decision of what type of breast reconstruction to choose and help them visualise what those outcomes might look like.
The final images will be completely anonymous yet impactful.

Where will the photo shoot take place?
The photo shoot takes place in a professional photography studio, based near Henley-on-Thames. We are happy for you to bring along a chaperone. The photographer is female and there will be a second female in the studio with you at all times.
How long will the photo shoot take?
The photo shoot usually takes around an hour. There will be tea, coffee, water & biscuits on offer. Due to the sensitive nature of the topic of the 'Book of Boobs' you will have a completely bespoke and private experience.
How will your participation help build the 'Book of Boobs'?
The book will cover the three main areas of reconstruction (own body tissue, breast implant, combination of tissue and breast implant) and non reconstruction (single and double mastectomy) across a diverse and representative group of women. Your participation will help build a visual library that women can use as a resource to help them make their decisions.
